Inauguration

Just saw Obama’s (predictably articulate and compelling) inauguration speech.  Three quick things off the top of my head:

  • When speaking about people of all faiths in America, he also included “non-believers”… amazing
  • He explicitly called all countries friends of the United States
  • He spoke firmly about responsibility of the citizenry and this theme was present throughout the speech

What a change.

‘Twas a beautiful sentiment. He did not fail to mention that it is the people who will ultimately dictate the changes that occur. The government can only do so much. It must be the people’s initiative and support to affect this change.

    Here’s to Hope
