The Right to Sue

*Originally posted on Mourningbell.com*

The Harper government has introduced a bill that allows Canadians to sue for acts of Terror.  I am, admittedly, quite puzzled.  What, if any, is the practical purpose of such a bill?  Is this another front in the War on Terror?  Who, pray tell, is going to be footing the bill? Has Al-Qaeda been setting aside a legal fund for this rainy day?

What else is new, the taxpayer bends over for it.

I say we tackle our domestic enemies first, the unions. if you want to talk squandering tax dollars have a look at our public sector/automotive unions.

I want to cash in my 12% stake in GM as a taxpayer.

Unions are outdated, only relevant in the early days of our economy.

But on topic maybe the law will allow Canadians to sue for negligence.
