Quite a great piece by Stephen Fry about language and the often pedantic pursuit of maintaining the English language as it has been made me think about my own haughty viewpoints. His point about “making a doing word out of a thing word” is so childishly poignant.
Verbing, nouning and metaphor is certainly beautiful in this spoken poem.
